I gotta believe alot of this lies on the coaching staff. Jordan Jefferson was given the keys, with no real fear of losing his job. I feel he was pandered, and treated like a fragile piece of crystal. He was probably given more daily affirmations than Stewart Smally. He is a terrible quarterback, and I think someone should kick him in the nuts to ensure he can never have a son that could possibly grow up to play at LSU. Let me ask you this. In the real world, in everyone's job, there are people, who are so comfortable, that they really don't have to get better, and that is what we saw with Jordan Jefferson. Never, have I seen a quarterback get progressively worse throughout his college career. He had so much skill around him, and the defense was so great, that it often masked how extremely horrible he is. He cannot make decisions, he couldn't run the option (the only reason he was in there) The passes he did complete were only as a result of amazing catches by Randle and OBJ. He strung his running backs out to dry on options, couldn't handle snaps, and blamed Spencer Ware for his mistake, and that damn whine face. I'll bet he thinks he is going to play in the NFL. He is arrogant, full of himself, and he just flat out sucks. I don't think Jarrett Lee would have done anything against Alabama, but he is all class. Jordan Jefferson isn't 1/16 the man Jarrett Lee is, and that is a fact. I am so happy right now because today is the first day of the rest my life without having to ever see him take another snap at LSU. Move over Jaime Howard, there is a new worst starting quarterback of all time at LSU.
Why do you suppose good QBs dread coming to LSU? Like Keil and Mettenberger ? People seem to forget one of the best QB's in the Nation came to LSU and was already practicing with the team until the dodgers gave him 5 million dollars. I seriously doubt Miles would have played him however since Jefferson was on teh team But to say we dont get QB's is a bit off I think. Just had a run of bad luck with these two, Perriloux etc. Lest us not forget our last full time QB was the #1 pick in the draft. yes he was a bust but he was a beast in College
You can't blame him, he's been coddled by that great motivator for 3 years. He played as to be expected.
