I am 100% positive that we lost that game b/c of the field conditions. That was pathetic.

Penn State fans and rival fan bases say "last I checked, you both played on the same field". Yeah....that's true...but LSU had world class sprinters and WAY more speed and that p.o.s. field neutralized our speed. That game determined absolutely nothing. I'm suprised no one popped an achilles or an ACL on that field.

Pisses me off just thinking about it.....but there's nothing that anyone can do about it. No one to blame, just one of those things.

lots of thunderstorms out there-- mostly north---gonna be a wet one depending on the drainage-- i agree we lost the penn state b/c our speed was quite neutralized-- but it was a hell of a second half-- so if we barely squeak by-- are we to blame the weather? guess we'll have a highly skewed running game huh? Jeez, can't we ever play these guys on a dry field?

This is Vanderbilt's last season on natural grass. Next year they go to synthetic turf.

And their field is abysmal. I dont know about the drainage but I saw it in July and it looked terrible. Dead grass and dirt everywhere. Surely they have it in good shape now.

I saw the highlights of the NW game last week and it appeared to be in good shape. No need to worry about drainage in Nashville.......urrhhh, never mind, it looked like New Orleans after Katrina earlier this summer.

No so much the rain, the fact that we played on that field last and the FIELD WAS NOT TAKEN CARE OF.

Miles fault for only winning 9 games, otherwise, we would have played in a different bowl game!

Um. I never said it was b/c of the rain. I attributed it to field conditions.
