It's not that he said it. It's the fact that people actually believe him when he says these things.

I think we could/should be able to take one from Florida at The Swamp considering the serious issues they are having this season. Not very confident these days, but I hope so.

Everybody is taking LSU for granted. 100% of the talking heads pick Florida. They all expect LSU to roll over and die. Hopefully the Florida team also does not take LSU seriously.

We can't fire Miles so... Can LSU hire a "clock management assistant" to handle the last 2:00 of every half?

There's about 100 assistants on the sideline every game. Put one of them to work.

Do you mean that Miles can't tell time or read a clock?

    Same old same old.

In the Championship year we had Pellini who was paying attention and bailed out Miles calling for timeouts when Miles was asleep or bogged down in a call that happened three plays before.

I'm saying Miles should put his managerial skills to use since he has problems handling the clock himself. There's lots of coaches and other assistants in LSU's sideline entourage. It can't take that much effort and planning to take one of those people and put them in charge of keeping track of clock, down and distance, and timeouts, and keep Les updated on these things.
