I am not sure anyone could run this offense right now. We need to run the same kind of pass plays that lee started the game with. Short to medium throws that get the ball to the recievers quickly in space. Short drop back and fire the ball. Nothing fancy quick play action passes and short slants. Run ridley with a fullback and make the defense pay to stop the run. Don't go crowton stupid with complex formations and too many packages. Lee can make those quick passes and ridley gets stronger as the game winds down. This team can win if we stop the penalties. Penalties are a result or confusion and frustration. Play a fast paced game and get in a grove. This team can do it. Miles job may depend on this game imo.

Maybe that is what happened. There has got to be a rational explanation.

A little different perspective from an outsider. Yesterday I was talking to one of my employees, he's a big UGA fan, and we were discussing the game, of course, and the state of our individual programs. During our conversation I made the comment that right now the Tigers have been unbelievably lucky and that if things don't turn around quick this is going to turn out to be a horrible season. His response to me was" man you LSU fans have no clue how lucky you are", I responded yes we do we know we should have lost that game, he's like " no man I don't know what you mean by get things turned around, turned around from what, you're 5-0 and have all the potential to run the tables. Sure your offense has issues, yes Miles can be a nut case and really frustrating, but you guys don't realize how great you have it. You guys have all the talent and coaching to take it all this yr. As bad as your QB play is, and as horrible of mistakes as Miles has made, the reality is if you guys only clean up the TO's and drive killing penalties there isn't a team out there that can beat you guys."

"You want to know bad, be a fan of UGA, where we have all the same talent as the top programs in the country, yr in and yr out we have what promises to be "The Season", to win the SECe and the SEC, but yr in and yr out, even if we're favored to be a contender, we find a way to screw it up. Hell, you guys are 5-0, beating some pretty stiff competition, we're 1-4 and losing to directional schools. Now that is something to be pissed about. We would kill to have a coach that can win like Miles does. He may come off goofy, but he flat out knows how to win, whether it is big or ugly, he wins."

Not sayin I agree with the guy, but he does have a point. Just thought I would share for those who might care. Take it for what it is worth.

Blasting Miles for his obvious ineptness doesn’t make one a negatiger. In fact I don’t know anyone blasting Miles for his incompetence that is anti LSU football. You must be very confused. Moreover, being a Miles’ booth licker doesn’t make you a positiger either. If you would be pro LSU you’d advocate for firing Miles and getting a better coach because you love LSU and you realize that it deserves better. Unless you don’t have a problem with the Ole Miss game last season and the Tennessee game last Saturday, not to mention the dysfunctional offense for the third season in a row with 4 and 5 star talent.

We don't need another Saban to be a better football team, we just need a coach that is competent and can coach, and there are plenty of good coaches that would love to have the opportunity to coach at LSU after watching the Less Miles follies the past few years.

Really, do you have a list of these, so called good coaches, "that would love to have the opportunity to coach at LSU". Seriously, if you think a "good coach" is what LSU fans would want then you have missed the entire boat. Miles is a good coach, what he isn't is a great coach, if we want to get better than we have, we need a great coach, and of the 5-6 coaches that would be considered great, none of them are coming here.

how many of these 5 or 6 aren't already going 56-15 and competing for :crystal:

    why take a lateral move?

    they aren't coming to LSU

IF LSU replaces clm it will be for a "potentially" great coach

    Saban ain't coming back folks

Take back that 83 yard touchdown run by JJ on the first play of the game and that 47 yard pass play to RR because JL threw an interception in the end zone on the very next play, and we are back to the same old dysfunctional offense we’ve had all season long. Again Saturday especially when JJ was in the game we had passes dropped and inopportune penalties causing 3rd and long situations. Even in the final drive the team made stupid idiotic mistakes but luckily they managed to overcome them, only to have the coaching staff try to blow the game for them, but luckily for us and for Less Miles, T-Bob saved the game and probably Less Miles’ job at the same time.

It is not negativity of the fan base that has been making LSU’s offense so dysfunctional all season long, it’s the incompetent coaching staff led by Less Miles. Indeed, if the offense wouldn’t be so dysfunctional for the third year in a row thanks to the inept coaching staff, the fan base wouldn’t be nearly so negative.

That’s because it is obvious that the team is winning games on talent despite Less Mile’s incompetent coaching.
