Per Aranda...negotiations lasted only 1 day.

The Auburn administration was just looking out for us I guess.

If this guy is the real deal and the offense continues to suck, I say make him the HC.

From everything I've read on Aranda to the tidbits I've heard on the radio the last few days, this looks like a homerun hire for Les.

This is going to feel like the longest offseason in history.

Of course it is. Right in Les' wheel house. Make that defense strong, strong to the point where 17-21 points is all you need to score, lean on the D to bring the win home for you.

I love the hire, can't wait to see what he can do but this is going to keep us mired in the lower 25% of offense ranking for a long time. Hope I am wrong.

Now hire somebody like Sean Payton as OC and all Les has to do is keep his hands off the offense and sit back and chew his cud.

How many times has that been said here and around every water cooler in the state? How likely is it to happen?

We're so close to being Bama in purple and gold you can taste it. There's just one big white hat wearing grass chewing obstacle in the way!

Never but they could hire a real offensive guru and lock Les in Mike's cage for the gamses.
