The kick off coverage is also looking like it used to. I know that we have all been frustrated that Gamble doesn't kick the ball into the endzone, but in "days of old, we never did because our coverage team ALWAYS nailed the runner inside the 20. Last year, that was not happening at all. So far, we're getting the job done on kick offs.

As for the onside kick, there are no words, but has anyone ever seen a ball hit the turf and bounce as high as that ball did last night? Now, shame on us for having NO one behind the first line of guys to field the ball.

Interestingly enough, A&M also took an onside from AU. Seals-Jones batted it back out of bounds to prevent AU from picking it up, smart play...

If we remain a first half team, we had better put up 40+ first half points against Alabama.

As evidenced yesterday against OM, that may or may not be enough.

You would think that one of the HIGHEST PAID coaches in college football would understand that teams will make adjustments at half time? Other teams do, we stay the course. If I remember correctly we scored 20pts in the 1st half and 3 in the second half. Miss State made this Adjustment. went from passing the ball to running their BIG running backs into the teeth of our defense. Especially when Gilmore was in, he gets pushed around. The nose tackle Travante Valentine is much better at the nose. My point Dan Mullen made adjustments,,,what adjustments did we make to counter? NONE.
