Looking ahead to spring game

    With the talent LSU will have this spring, the spring game may turn out to be one of the best college games of 2012. It would be a great way to promote it.

    Spring games are not for promoting. They're a glorified practice, that's all.

    True. But I've still always been surprised at how low the attendance has historically been for such a heavily supported program (compaired to others across the country that is).

    Not knocking it...just stating is all.

    I hear ya. I really have no idea why that is so.

    Maybe the others got it wrong? :D

    They should work in some "Fan Day" stuff, it would increase the attendance. Even promos like:

    1/ "First X number of kids get a field pass". Could do it for each side.
    2/ "First 15 kids ages 8-14(??) through the gate get to run out of the tunnel with one of the teams after half.

    Liability though, I guess.

    No no...can't do that. It's bad 'gris gris'. You realize if we as fans look ahead to the spring game, the team will lose focus on the task at hand, and we'll lose the BCSNCG. Pay attention...and stay focused.

    How conceited are we? We're so good we are looking ahead to the spring game.... LSU vs LSU... Finally some good competition for us.
