Not sure what you mean. We'd love to hear your opinion. This board has always liked lively banter. It's one of the reasons why we're all here . . . a broad tolerance and not a lot of chickenshit rules. We have some members who can be jerks. But people get right in their face and its usually self-correcting.

A lot of folks have been friends here for years (going on decades) and simply mess with each other a lot. It ain't all that serious. But I can see how it might look so from afar. It's why we have the magical setting where we can ignore people that we don't want to deal with and they disappear from our lives.

But this doesn't mean that anything goes. Personal attacks are not conducive to good discussion. If you think a post is over the line, then use the report button to notify the mods. It's how we assess the tolerance of the board. Every now and then we get a real kook or a genuine troublemaker and the mods are forced to deal with them. But there is a process and its not arbitrary. The mods can't make everyone happy and don't even try. We just try to sweep out the garbage. If something smells bad to you, let us know.

To all potential personal attackers: I encourage you to consider Red's Rule #1 for internet posting . . . Anyone who gets angry and upset at an anonymous internet character needs serious help.

Red, I have not seen as much recently as I did when I first joined the board. Most of my issue is that attacks turn personal. If somebody does not like Miles, they get blasted. If you are not pumping sunshine you get blasted. None of it is really necessary. I think there is a great saying about it that we have all heard. Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one. I personally like to hear why people don't like something or why they love it. Getting different takes on what occurs in LSU football is why I come here.

I've participated on various message boards since the late 90s, and personal attacks, bickering, and threats are a staple amongst all of them. However, this place has far less of it than any other board that I've been on regularly, and does a better job of self-policing.

As I said, it has not been as prevalent as it once was which is the reason I decided to post on occasion.

The poll is bullshit of course, but I do think Auburn deserves a little more (mainstream) poll love than they are getting.

They are waiting for Auburn to beat a contender. But they probably are better than advertised.

That and they aren't paying much attention. So if Auburn were to win and go to 4-0, do they move Auburn into the top 10 overnight? How ridiculous is that? Auburn should be somewhere between 15 and 25 right now. Very high teens or low 20s. At least. JMHO

So if Strength of Schedule is 1/3 of this poll then that would mean if LSU beats the hell out of AU (aka #1) then we should take a huge leap up to 1 or 2 then, right?

Also is this still a factor in this years BCS poll that comes out next month?

Their QB (not sure of his name), but dude has some wheels. I only caught the last part of their game where they won it at the end, but dude can run. I'm hoping this LSU D has sorted some things out, this guy has the potential to be a real run threat. But i'm confident Chavis will have everyone ready to get after the run ttpe QB.
