Long time Texas posters on RP: "F RP" - "Screw him" - "Piece of cajun trash"

Well I was poking around seeing the aftermath and devastation of tonight on the texas rivals site, and nearly immediately saw these two posts from longtime members. Kind of sad to turn on Ryan in that way before he even announced his commitment!

 

I hope he comes to LSU...Texas doesn't deserve his services anyway. I hope cgisclair tells him what is going on.

You'd like to think that, but reports are that the reason Powe switched his commitment from Auburn is because of things that were being said about him by some of their fans on the internet.

 

A couple of people? Dude....almost the ENTIRE TEXAS board is slamming him....

 

Sounds like a bunch of PRE - sour grapes...

 

Orangebloods was seriously a war zone tonight. They were even trashing the guys that run it for not giving info faster or whatever. Lots of people pissed off for no reason.

 

I still think RP will geaux to Texas, but I am hoping to see him in P&G... I think its still 60/40 UT.

 

Man that guy needs to get a life. EVERY year even some solid recruits get cold feet when it comes down to decision time. Just about all of the top recruits bask in the glory of recruiting wars and ride the wave to the bitter end. RP is no different. He'll never have this experience again in his life. Will I be disappointed if he doesn't come to LSU ? Sure will, but I'm not going to go around and attemp to psychoanalyze him over the internet. What's the guy going to say if (hope he doesn't ) RP formally commits to Texas ? Some people go waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay overboard with this stuff.

 

What better way to overcome narcissism than to become a Longhorn? :lol:
