First off, got to be PC and congratulate all of the LSU (present and former) track hopefuls during the Olympic trials--they've represented LSU well and make me realize what an amazing amount of talent has come out of the school for track and field over the years... let's hope it continues to flourish.

But, I have to say, is there a better reason to follow track than LSU's former Lolo Jones?

Where was she during her college years and am I the only one out there that thinks she's a hottie? :thumb: Her and women's beach volleyball will be making me tune in to the olympics for sure.

Wow. Lolo is going insane. She dominated in each of the four rounds of the Olympic trials. In the third round, the semifinal race, she ran her best time ever, 12.45 (the fastest time in the world this year). Then, to top it off, Lolo goes to the finals and goes absolutely berserk, finishing in 12.29 seconds (wind-aided), one of the the greatest times in world history. Wow.

    Geaux Lolo!!! LSU! :usaflagwa

This is what U.S. Champion Lolo Jone's website (http://www.runlolorun.com/) currently says:

    Olympic Games Beijing
    HERE I COME!!!

I'm glad to see that her website is still playing the "Whatever Lola Wants, Lola Gets" song. I love it.

    LSU!Richard Thompson (Trinidad and Tobago[IMG])

    Women's 100-Meter Dash
    LSU!Kelly Baptiste (Trinidad and Tobago[IMG])
LSU!Muna Lee (Kansas City, Missouri, USA[IMG])

    Women's 200-Meter Dash
LSU!Muna Lee (Kansas City, Missouri, USA[IMG])

    Women's 100-Meter Hurdles
LSU!Lolo Jones (Des Moines, Iowa, USA[IMG])

    Men's 400-Meter Hurdles
    LSU!Isa Phillips (Jamaica[IMG])

Trackfan, are there any other former or current Tigers that still have a shot of going to the Olympics?

There may be a few from Grenada, but I don't know when or how they choose their team.

    In a class with me.

I hadn't hit me until I saw her picture on LSUsports.net and remembered I had a class with her during summer session.

Not much to write home about. I am sure many students had many classes with her.
