Snead for Heisman! What a stinking egg laid by that guy tonight during the primetime Thursday Night Game: 7 of 21 (33%), 4 sacks, 5.1 yards/attempt
I'm very glad I went with my first instinct and picked SC for the win in pick em. Really, when I realized they were playing in SC and it was Spurrier vs. Nutt, I thought it was a toss up. So outside of the top two/three...who has been playing like a top ten team?
I stopped getting text messages midway through the third quarter. GEAUX TO HELL OLE MISS lefire: That's what happens when they put a number in front of a mississippi team.
Yet, you've got to tip your hat to the Rebel's 'Percy Harvin,' Dexter McCluster (hometown: Tampa, Florida). The guy almost single-handed brought the Rebs back to victory... 85 yards on 15 carries (5.7 YPC), 11 of those carries were in the 4th Quarter. He wasn't able to get a catch because Snead was stinking it up so bad, so they stuck him in the backfield for the whole 4th Quarter. In the first 3 Quarters: 1st-10, SCar31 6:46 D. Some of the posts on the Ole Miss forum at Scout.com: Sorry Ole Miss fans. Now you know how us hog fans felt for so many years. Classic Houston Nutt... UK fan here. I once wanted Nutt to be at UK then we beat him three out of four. He had more talent each time and didn't beat UK. I think he takes more talent and does less than most coaches in the SEC. Not a Nutt hater. However, this brought back so many memories with Nutt running the show. Not hating, you guys have a good football team, but us Arkansas fans know HDN. We put up with that for 10 years. You guys have two much talent on both sides of the ball to get beat by them tonight. Why did they wait so long to get McCluster involved. Good luck, but we tried to tell ya... I agree on the coaching.Bad tonight. Talent all over the field. I lay this egg on the Nutt. lol. we didnt even play like a top 30 tonite. We struggled against a team that was blown out by MTSU so tonight should come as no surprise. We beat memphis 45 to 14 but those of us who were there saw our offense look anemic for 3 quarters against a sub par C USA team. This is no shocker. Yeah it was fun while it lasted...o well... guess everyone outside the rebel family is saying 'i told you so'.... Scout.com: Ole Miss Insiders
