Why would anyone rather be a running back than a linebacker if you aren't Fournette or Adrian Peterson. The future is so much brighter if you are really good at linebacker.

Carrying the ball and scoring is more fun, gets you more attention, and probably gets you laid more. Would you rather be the lead singer, or the bass player?
If the bass player meant I was gonna have a longer career and make more money, and not just be another dime a dozen I'd choose LB everytime and just try to be Les Claypool.
