:milesmic: is already pretty popular with LSU fans. That's what going, what, 36-5 (?) will do for you.

Imagine how popular :milesmic: would become if, after another awesome season, possibly a :crystal: season, he TURNS DOWN the Michigan offer and stays at LSU.

I'm not saying it would happen.

But if it DID happen, he might just become our own version of JoPa, Bear Bryant, Bo, etc., etc. The next Chalie Mac, but with a better record.

Why might it happen? Some think his family is very happy here. Some say that recruiting in the South is so good that he might want to stay and see how many :crystal: he can win at LSU. Some say Michigan is torn, and he might not want to enter the Bo/Anti-Bo argument.

Whatever. Just interesting to think that he may take advantage of this moment to CEMENT himself into LSU legend.

I would love it if that happened...and I believe it's possible. Should he go on to win the :crystal: , then tell UM thanks, but no thanks...he would be immortalized at  . There are still quite a few "Sabanites" left, but they would either convert to :milesmic: , or be left behind.

I would never fault a man that has a dream.

If Coach Miles is offered the Michigan job i would think he takes it and i would congratulate him.

It is the only place he would leave us for and he made that clear before he took our job.

I think he has grown to love LSU and people seem to regret leaving LSU because sometimes the grass isnt always greener.

But i wish Coach Miles well and would be sorry to see him go.

He is my kinda coach and he is a good man.

I don't think it could have been said any more eloquently.
