I'm starting to really worry about this distraction. The stakes are very high for LSU, and I'm really hoping that our current staff cares enough to not jeopardize our potential NC.

I wonder, I've never seen him say he was sorry he left LSU, I always heard him say he was sorry he left college football. I don't think he really gave a damn about LSU in particular. And I think he had feeling for the players he was associated with here, not LSU.

A lot of coaches "Use" players. At all levels, they're with the X years, and the coaches need them to win. The best coaches form relationships with them. As hard-nosed as Saban was, I've read that he was a positive influence in many of his players' lives, some also really hated him. I do believe he cared/cares about his players.

*EDIT: I don't mean the kind of "Relationships" we recently lost a coach over.

I am just saying that there is nothing we can do about this and worrying about it wont make it any better...we can all have our opinions and state them....I thought that was what this board was about...opinions and not facts....I didn't realize that everyone was on such a band wagon....

I generally like one with the other, but that is somewhat impossible to find here during football season.

I just thought that this was where everyone that is a member has the right to voice their own opinions and not get "kicked in the throat" for different opinions and people not taking low blows for whatever reason they have "over compensating, etc."......I know you have to have facts, but also people do have opinions and they all need to be respected....no matter how stupid or outlandish they are....
