Lions vs Saints in the Dome

I'm still patiently waiting for the Saints to go back to absolutely dominating the Lions. I think we'll be getting back to that soon

 

There were go... Saints D holds Lions to a 3 and out... just like we did to them on their first drive of the game.

Now let's see if Bush can do better than his first two horrible attempts at punt returning...

 

I like seeing the ball go to Bell up the middle instead of Bush. One gets you a first down and the other gets you 2nd & 10.

I hope we're not down to our 3rd string LT.

 

Bell with a big run up the middle for 10 yards plus. Bell is still looking great as our up-the-middle back.

And yeah, Bush up-the-middle has been a joke as always, but we have to do it keep the D honest so we can get him passes out of the backfield where Bush is an actual threat.

 

Look at that, Bell again with another dominating 10-yard or so run up the middle.

 

I know its just the Lions but I am impressed with Bell.

Now that Jason David is gone I see Reggie Bush becoming the whipping post now. Give me a dual backfield of Bell and Thomas..to hell with Bush..let him just return punts and kickoffs!

Brees to Shockey for the TD. Shockey's first TD as a Saint during the regular season (his first TD in a Saints uniform came in the beginning of the first game of the preseason).

I wish he would've played in the SEC instead of the Pac-1. He probably wouldn't have won the Heisman but he would be a much tougher player.
