I am a CLM backer, but does it not bother anyone else, that during a game week, when we are the #1 team in the country, CLM spends 2/3 of the time on the program in the name of Maize and Blue? Not to mention his stops on Tirico, and who knows who else? I am mean here he is in the middle of all of these Miles to Michigan stories, and he is going on national radio talking about Michigan. I am not :angryfire, but kind of annoyed. I know I might get dinged for this but I just wanted to see if anyone else felt the same way.

I don't think its that big of a deal.... His purpose on the show was to promote Bo's book. He wasn't brought on to talk about LSU. In the rivalry week of Michigan/Ohio St Rome wanted someone to come on and talk about the rivalry and Bo.... who better (especially now) than Miles????

Besides its not like he took time off to fly up there and do the interview during a game week. He was probably sitting on his couch drinking a beer, watching film while talking to Rome!!:hihi:

OK, now, get a grip. He was ASKED about his former coach, whom he played AND coached under. Don't know if you played, but a special relationship and admiration often does form in this circumstance. Especially when the old coach has had so much success. Personally, I thought he showed respect where it was due. That being said, I agree that he did skirt the issue concerning thoughts of going to his old school.
As for his presentation, he's a COACH, not an English professor or commentator. I thought he presented his info well. Maybe the poster who commented on this can convince him to take Public Speaking 101 next summer.:D

I do have a grip, it was just a question. I am cool with his love of Michigan, and I know he wants to support his alma mater, and I know its the week of the rivalry. I just think with all that is in the news, he is priming the fire. Right now, he should be promoting LSU first and foremost, and if he wants to throw in a plug for Bo's book, cool. That's all I am saying.
