You sign only 2 legit LBs in the past 2 years and you think we need only sign 3 this year? Unless the coaches see a bumper crop of LBs for next year, we must get 4 or 5 this year.
I do think he'll stay there. USC had shown him some interest but as a CB, not a RB. He wants to run the ball and the pursuit was almost nonexistent. The biggest hit is to Neuheisel and Chow. ucla wanted him very badly and it's not good for the Pac or SoCal for a good RB to leave for South Bend.
As I mentioned before, Shaq seems to be enjoying the recruiting process. I believe he'll take all his visits before announcing. Yes I think LSU has a legit chance with him. You just never know with these kids. A great visit can result in a change of heart/mind. I honestly believed USC would get Dayne Crist and then he had a "wow" visit to ND and it was all over. I have come to understand that at this point, Evans favors ucla.
In the spirit of fun and sharing info, here's a write up from this last weekend's Nike camp. Interestingly enough, the guy who wrote this piece was a recruiting guy for aOSU for 17 years before retiring. I can't wait for the Rising Stars camp in June. http://wearesc.com/news/story.php?article=986
