I wouldn't count on Sentimore or Connor, as it looks like there are bigger fish OOS.

I think from a talent standpoint Sentimore would definitely be on our board just behind McFarland. But isn't he the one with character issues and/or grade problems? If it is character issues, that won't figure in too well for him over here at LSU. We have too much leverage to select anybody who is "questionable".

Connor is a foregone conclusion now. Rivals has dropped him like a hot potato.

Supposedly, a little bit of both - although not huge issues with either.

I think Sentimore is a take if we don't get McFarland, but we'll see what happens.

Copy. So besides Bell, Randle, and Davenport, who are the LA studs we go after to keep the LA "pipelines" lubed and active?

That's what I would think, Sentimore is our backup plan to McFarland.

Hey now. It's early. Last year, USC closed recruits from Florida, Texas, Georgia, and Michigan. We lost out at the last minute on an Arkie kid but considering we've got Brod Green, Mitch Mustain, and Damien Williams, that's been a solid area too. We've also had some great success on the East coast. By the time this class is signed, USC will have gone successfully out
of Cali including the #1 LB prospect Mante Te'o from Hawaii and I think we've got a great shot at WR prospect Marlon Brown out of Tennessee.

Getting kids OUT of the South is tough, especially this early in the process. The rising senior's camp at the end of June should provide some clear direction on some prospects.

I said so far. USC is so good, it's tough to even pay them an adequate compliment....

My guess is Davenport and Randle have spots reserved. No doubters. Mingo is a probably in the same boat.

I don't believe Bell has that luxury. We have a couple of guys ahead of him (Brown, Evans and maybe even Patterson and/or Blake) on the board and if he takes too long to commit, he will be looking elsewhere to play his college football.

    You so right.

Seriously though, it is VERY hard to get kids to leave the South. Makes the recruiting game a lot more fun.
