This was my second thought after I heard this. My first thought was how stupid and selfish they are.

Screw it.. Line JJ up as one of the running backs and that way he gets his play time with Lee in the game as well..

Excellent breakdown. If we follow our trend, who closes it out down the stretch like Ware? Blue is an attacker, runs hard and already enough carries to take a hit w/o putting it on the ground? Magee has looked tough, too.

Well ... that illusion will get shattered real fast this Saturday.

Personally, the loss of TM and Simon are more impactful to me than Ware. Ware is good at what he does ... but frankly, I think Ford has the potential to be more of a feature back .... Ingram style. Holding Ware out will hopefully give Ford the opportunity to show what he's made of. Blue is pretty fricken good as well.

NOW ... OTOH ... losing the two Deep Backs could have presented a problem, but as Izzy has noted ... the Barn is bringing a first time starting sophmore, wtih two banged up WRs and a missing starting O-Lineman.

I think we weather this storm quite nicely. In fact, it could increase the fear factor a bit. If Ford and Blue ROCK .. which is what I think you'll see, then that adds a whole new dimension for Bama to think about. The only obstical I see is we get up by a few scores, and in comes JJ, who will rob these guys of touches, by keeping it himself everytime he gets a chance.

I would really like to see CLM cut Ford lose. I have a feeling that guy has a "Cobrajet" powering those legs, with the potential to do a lot of damage fast.

Ford will run like a madman over the warbirds. Ware will enjoy the rest of the season from the sideline.

These ARE the kinds of mistakes that cost you your starting position.

Just ask JJ!! ... you never want to let the second guy get the chance to show everyone he should be the first guy.

Totally agree. TM7 is an amazing player but he needs to tone down the trash talking, the tweeting, and the toking. All the Heisman Trophy buzz and the Honey Badger stuff is giving this young man an attitude.

I dislike the Gumps but I respect their on field demeanor. TM7, please let your play on the field do your talking. I think the seniors on the team, CLM, and Chief need to give their team member some humility counseling.

Watch for some Ronald Martin at Nickel. Depends on if he can keep up his great practices this week.
