    Truth

I am sure the good in me and the Tiger in me will get through to giving Les a
pass. Tonight I am going out with Vader one more time!

right, i like to pile on les when he does stupid things. which is more often than I like.

but hes far from incompetent. his record speaks for itself even if in spite of him.

sure it was a black eye for the program a few mondays ago in what should have been a selling point.

and we will feel the fallout of that display in recruiting in my opinion.

but you have to understand that along with the stupid gaffes of les miles, and the fact he will never again be considered as good or a better coach than saban(but he was getting close) we will still be ranked #1 or #2 heading into next season.

We're coming off an undefeated regular season (also in regulation) with an SEC title under our belts.

And a top 10 recruiting class even though it was supposed to be top 3.

still all good and will get even better if the mad hatter starts to understand hes a ceo and program runner like bobby bowden and mac brown.

if he accepts this he will retire as a tiger and the all-time winningest coach here on every level.

and he's going to be here at least another 4 years regardless. better learn to deal with him and these occasional mental meltdowns because they will likely happen again.

And thats why theres so much unrest. you never know when its going to happen and never get good answers reassuring he even gets how or why they happened. the trust factor is always missing.

its similar to a chick who cheated. you trust them up to a point. but never fully again.

this is the uneasiness that is les miles. But we are still a top 10 program and will remain to be. I hope.

When it comes to stupid, I believe I win.
I thought in 6 months I understood exactly; how the team ticks, how poor the rest were, how the ranking system works, how a team prepares for a month between games, how good LSU was at creating opportunistic turnovers etc. etc.

..and I haven't been to one LSU game, one tailgate or set foot in the state of Louisiana.
    Yet, I felt completely devastated.

    I was kidding myself.
Will wait until all the right boxes are ticked, then say whatever I want about LSU football.

The road to the tailgate is on!!!

Winston .. I hate to say it ... but in reality, the first win on Nov 5th ... was pure luck.

It was pure luck that JJ found a busted coverage and completed a very poorly thrown pass to Sheppard, that set up the FG. The other part of pure luck, was that Bama didn't have a FG kicker who could nail a FG outside of the 30 yrd line.

I mean .. really .. did we run the ball all over Bama the first game??? .. NOPE! Did JJ really play as great against Bama in the first game as all the JJ homers would like us to believe???? NOPE. Was the gameplan a good plan in the first game???? NOPE!!!!!

The only part of the game that was not pure luck was Reid intercepting the game winning TD. That was pure skill and determination.

Yep ... when we beat the tar out of Bama next year .. it will all be about Bama losing TR and a bunch of defensive guys .. .and how the 2012 LSU team could have never beat the 2011 Bama guys. Saban will forever be considered the better coach, and, no matter how many times CLM beats Bama in the future .... people will always point back to Jan 9th 2012, when the debate was settled that Saban >> Miles.

If I were CLM .. that would motivate me to make sure Bama never beat LSU again as long as I was the coach. But .. then ... I'm a rather vindictive type.:D

That game but what about the Nov 5th game? Miles outcoached Sabanista by a long shot.

I gave up a front row seat on the bandwagon and moved back to an exit row aisle.

This is a make or break year for Les. With the talent we have returning and the expecation for improved performance from the QB position, the outlook is very good for 2012.

Another :crystal: would go a long way to getting Les a front row seat in the LSU Hall of Fame.

Didn't you read a previous poster's response? He's taking the Bama line of "LSU only won the 11/5 game because of luck."

What about 2010? What about Oregon and TAMU? In fact it was generally agreed that Les DID out coach Nick on Nov 5 by playing it close to the vest and Nick choked. Again Les blew Jan 9 but Nick has blown more (Utah, Iowa, NLU). I agree blowing the championship is worse BUT it happens to the best. I saw Bear Bryant do it, what about big game Bob Stoops and Mac Brown? Bobby Bowden did it. Are they just as bad as Les.
We are all a little but hurt here but don't rush to the exits. 2012 looks to have great potential. Put Jan 9 behind with all the JL & JJ crapola and look to a bright future.
BTW the above doesn't mean we shouldn't debate and criticize.

great post. LSU keeps getting worse and worse under the command of Les the Retard. the ship is sinking fast and you'd be a fool not to be jumping in a life boat right now.
