TigerCliff referring to Les Miles as "stupid" lies definitively within the realm of rationalization. People such as yourself are far too quick to withhold criticism and to then deride those who happen to disagree. You need to ultimately redefine what you interpret as rational. As of now that definition is extremely off base. "Stupid" is just a harsh substitute for incompetence. Would you consider it irrational to call a coach incompetent? I think not. Anyways, looking forward to future discussions on upcoming season.
Having been an avid fan for decades greatly qualifies you to title this loss as the most disappointing one on record. The monstrosity of this loss was something that I continuously pondered during the so called game, if one can even call it a game.
thanks for the cover I know how to talk the talk that the large body of folk want to hear. I could take the time to sound smart but at the end of the day I don't care what the large % of folk that make up the state and nation think about me. I am clear in my mind what makes one stupid. Les has made it clear to me that he can get on the stupid road and stay put. What Les did on Jan 9th was stupid and if you agree with how he got this team ready to play Bama that makes you stupid also! TC
You depict the unfortunate situation with Les Miles perfectly. I've repeatedly stated that Les Miles will never change. It's an unimaginable stretch to think that he will properly adapt the offense.
And in my opinon, Les continues to show that he is capable of dropping the ball. right Les is also capable of not picking up the ball at all !
One would think a coach with BCS title and an undefeated season would be hard to classify as incompetent. If he is incompetent, what are all the other coaches?
tirk your point is valid but doesn't hold water for the moment in time Les will never be able to give back to me the perfect storm has come and gone never to return Bama had Nick LSU had Les one coach had a great plan one coach had a stupid plan
Yes Nick out coached Les Jan 9, but didn't everyone rave that Les out coached Nick both Nov 5 and last year? Haven't many talked about how Les was so brilliant preparing for Oregon and TAMU and on and on? Was he stupid then? Is his winning percentage a sign of stupidity or blind luck? Every coach gets out coached periodically. Every team lays a turd in an important game. I am sick about Jan 9 but until I see a trend where Les is coaching to 4 or more losses or is losing touch with the team I will believe Jan 9 was an aberration not a trend. The sky isn't always falling; sometimes it is only a rainstorm
