You guys do what you want and have fun while you are doing it. I am in the middle of a business start-up and don't have time for trying to figure out what is going on. I have had fun on the site and enjoy Tiger football but after watching Lee last night and going over the season I just can't deal with it in my logical mind. It makes me feel part of the stupid and I can't get that much stupid out of my system. I think the Tigers have amazing talent and we shall see how that amazing talent deals with stupid. If stupid can be handled and controlled then there is hope. If stupid keeps total control - no hope in the end.:dis::dis::dis: Good luck with all that and Geaux Tigers !!!!!!!!
My definition of stupid is someone who thinks they know more about a subject than trained professionals.
Per Webster - Definition of STUPID I see quite a few items that were applicable to that Jan 9th performance. I don't see your definition listed although I do think 4a applies to your post.
I have opened a therapy office. I think I may be able to retire much earlier now. You guys are an awesome study in sports and its effect on the the human psyche. Please PM me for rates. Anyone who mentions TF gets 15% off.
A personal attack on the coach qualifies as an opinion these days? Did not realize that. My apologies, apparently the standards for discourse have been lowered.
What you had said was "My definition of stupid is someone who thinks they know more about a subject than trained professionals." This suggests that non-coaches have no right to discuss football on a football discussion board . . . and if they do, then they are "stupid" . . . low standards for discourse, indeed.
No ... it suggests that non-coaches have a right to discuss football and express their satisfaction and/or dissatisfaction in a rational manner. Calling the coach stupid because you disagree with him is irrational, and yes, stupid.
