I used to like Matthews before he got purely partisan. He does still have the ability to conduct a good interview and hold a politician's feet to the fire.
Most of the liberals are so smug, hectoring and self important. When I watch them they seem to be teachers lecturing a mentally challenged class. They are more moralistic than any fundamentalist preacher. Anyone who disagrees with them is evil and morally bankrupt.
I watch Morning Joe because Joe Scarborough is there to call the liberals bullshit bullshit.

Maher is passionate about his beliefs, but not so passionate about being a liberal that he won't call them out when he disagrees with them.

I agree. He's a smart funny guy and I like him, even though I disagree with most of what he says.

Any sane human being would call their own out when they disagree.

For years I enjoyed Jon Stewart but eventually his liberal smugness became too much to watch. What he criticized FOX News and guys like Rush Limbaugh for was exactly what he did every night. Let's see, what are those idiot conservatives doing today that we liberals are way too high minded for...

I hear that. Stewart was very impressed with himself.

I get it Jon, Fox News is crazy. You told me 10 years ago. Get over it.

Also very dishonest for not being more open about how partisan his material was.

Stewart has a target audience, white people about as smart as Cajun sensation.

Jon Oliver is pretty damn funny. I loved it when he created his own church, that was good stuff.

He is and I think he makes an attempt to keep his liberal views from showing through but they are noticeable. I need to go to my On Demand and catch up

Which Democrat announced his presidential campaign on his show? I remember Stewart tried to make a joke about it then, but I really think from that point on he began to believe in his own importance in politics.
