Damn, how did I miss that story? That's pretty wild. Covington doesn't seem like a place you'd have problems with aggressive cops.
It's all about power, the principals don't want to relinquish any power and all the officials are asking for is 5 bucks extra per person. there more than likely will be a strike, but I've been assured it has nothing to do with the Covington incident.
The story is the crowd is extremely close to the field, some of the fans were coming on the field, an official asked a Covington policeman (who had a son playing in the game) if he could get the crowd back. Cop says you do your job and I'll do mine, official stops the game, gets the white hat over and the cop then arrests the white hat when he tells the cop he won't resume until they move back.
My last high school football game was cut short about half way through 4th quarter due to a gun battle in the visitors stands.
