If he was having such thoughts, the LSU coaches should run him out of BR themselves. A lot of attrition at the position. I can't even think of an elite running back in the SEC who stayed all 4 seasons unless they were redshirted.

He'll be healed and rested by combine time and will have impressive numbers. Anything Miles did to destroy his draft status he will regain at the combine. No way in hell he stays and he really shouldn't. Go make your millions and thanks for being a tiger.

    A couple of points
    1) I can't believe how shallow some fans think LF7 is to say he would mail the rest of the year in. It's obvious he has too much character to do that. It seems more a comment on your characters than his.
    2) This will be his last year. He'll be a pro next year. Good for him.
    3) To say Miles ruined him is total BS and only shows a hate Les agenda. STFU! Get over it as he's gone.
    4) LF7 has been a great player, ambassador and leader since he came to LSU. He will be missed and celebrated.

    1) He wouldn't be the player he is if the thought of mailing it in ever crossed his mind. I just don't see that happening.
    2) Absolutely!
    3) Fournette would be in the conversation for his second Heisman trophy if not for Miles so maybe you should STFU.
    4) Again, absolutely!

I certainly don't think he will "mail it in" but this injury seems a bit worse than thought and his premature return did it no good. He needs a clear head and some good advice. Talking big picture here.

No reason to rush him back just so he can add some stats. Get him 100% healthy for the final stretch. Meanwhile LSU will be fine at RB.

I'm not saying he's going to stay. He will leave, but he will play at some point again this year. My opinion is that your opinion stating he's content with his body of work is ridiculous.

Fournette is a competitor, no way he sits out the remainder of the year unless he just can't go due to the ankle. He's a leader and a vocal one at that. He'll be back on the field if he's healthy enough to play.

So you really think he's gonna come back and face the back half of the schedule? Dude is done bro. He's been rehabbing for the signing bonus since Moo U. This and the QB change finished his stint here...

Totally agree man. You can read his demeanor when the camera pans on him on the sideline. It's as if he wants nothing to do with LSU. He will regret his decision as will find out about how little fun he will be having and how stressful of a job the NFL really is.
