So I was thinking what would be the likely hood of LF staying for his senior season? I know it's very unlikely as most kids at this stage with this kind of talent are thinking, "let me get to the NFL and get my payday". But with him being less than 100% for most of the year (freaking high ankle sprain is a bitch to completely heal with out completely being off of it) and our jug head of a coach managing to waste the best player in college football last year with horrible play calling. You've got to think that part of him would want another shot at proving how good he is and winning the Heisman. I can't be the only one that feels let down about the fact that we that close to having our second Heisman trophy winner. Now that being said if Guice keeps running like he is he could win it next year.
Once the heisman hopes were dashed he's now saving himself for the 1st round. I don't expect to see much the rest of the year.
I think Miles should have sat him in the Miss St game to let him fully heal. You don't risk a players health and future.
I think miles should have been truthful and give the real report not "its just a bruise he'll be fine". That was garbage
Kids career will only last about 3 maybe 4 years if he's lucky. I'm not buying into the hype anymore. He's no where near the caliber of running back that Adrian Peterson was. I think he's a good player but not what everyone thought he was.
I just think he has been hurt all year. While he probably wanted to play, Miles should have sat him. Coach O sat him last weekend and even had him as doubtful for this week. Seems like he is protecting the player more.
I dont know I think he is pretty special, look what he did with what he had to work with. Put him behind a gump O line and he is an all world running back. Hell he might be working on his 2nd Heisman by now. I agree with the sentiment he has been hurt, he just hasn't looked like 100% all year......and that is what a high ankle sprain does to you, it lingers.
