It has been a nice trend to watch. LSU has really begun to leverage it's national visibility to recruit beyond state and regional borders. And why wouldn't you do that? It seems like up until recent years we have been primarily focused on players from Louisiana and nearby states in the Southeast Region. With the amount of TV exposure that the school receives coupled with the Tigers becoming a regular topic in the national championship picture we should be able to reach out and grab players from around the country and beyond. And now we are. It's nice to see this organization leveraging the power of the name to reach quality players from places like California, New Jersey, Nebraska and Australia. I hope that this continues to be a trend and LSU truly positions itself as the place to be no matter where you are from. Congratulations to Miles and all of the staff on a very solid recruiting class. It is going to be a lot of fun watching these guys develop and compete!!
