I thought this was going to be a big strength for us coming into the season but I am pretty unhappy with the o-line so far. It seems like JJ barely ever has time in the pocket.

Is it the whole looking at the sideline for audibles that's throwing them off? Maybe having to stay down in the stance for a long time? If so things like that need to have been already taken care of.

What was up with our guys being sick? Was their some swine flu stuff going on? I definitely saw Blackwell throw up.

The guards really have been absolutely horrible in my opinion. I saw Georgia's interior d-linemen just go right through our guards at times.

We barely got it done against Georgia, but Florida and Bama are going to rip apart our offensive line if we don't get it together.

I would have to agree with this assessment.

They played better today. That's for sure. But against Florida's defense, it won't nearly be enough.

Thought they played much better today. Especially for having 3 of them blowing chunks. Which Athens restaurant poisened them is what i am wondering. Ciron Black didn't have any stupid penalties, and alot of the sacks were because JJ didn't get rid of the ball when he should have. You are right though, they will have to play better against Florida, but they are improving.

i thought they played really well. jordan jefferson has to learn to get rid of the ball and make quicker decisions.

hes freezing mentally back there. i think its moving way too fast for him currently.

hes got to help out the boys up front. they are forced to hold simply to protect him many times and the sacks have been mostly on him.

his long wind-up doesnt help things either. still a good game for him all things considered. in athens.

i said that in a different thread, this year reminds me of 07. We may do it ugly but we survive and we move on. Miles said it best at the end of the game, as long as this team is in the game, they can win it.
