Chavis has always favored light in the ass DL and LBs. Works good against spread teams not as great against power teams.
Our D struggled against pro-style running attacks when we had Chavis as DC, and A&M will struggle against them for as long as he is DC. His D does well against the spread though, so if we get Herman, they might be in a better position from a scheme and personnel perspective.
That's true too. But fundamentals have been really bad in all the games I've seen them play. But this annual tanking at the back half of the season would get Sumlin long gone.
We have no talent in the middle of the line. Also Losing Beckwith destroyed us. It's a talent issue, not a coaching issue and I'm confident we get this fixed.
