Past: The season started off rough. JJ and Shep were both suspended. Lee came in and did a lot of good. Lsu accomplished things this years most teams could only dream of. A clean sweep of a schedule considered by many to be brutual. We defeated the rose bowl champs (oregon) the orange bowl champs (West virginia) Won the SEC championship, while going 13-0 through the regular season. We've seen a young team grow. We've handled controversy. We've done a lot to be proud of. Hold your heads up high. Present: All of us are disappointed. The play calling, JJ, the inabilty to score, and losing to our most hated rival for the big trophy. It hurts. obviously. Saban claimed his third over us. Look blame whoever you want, but this team just didnt seem as excited and fired up as bama did. They deserved the win, but it's still a debate as to if they deserved to be here. The flawed BCS system can be to blame, but facts are facts. They are the 2011 national championships. Accept it and move on. As hard as that is. Future: The future of this team is bright, but changes must be made. We need to open this offense up more. Mett is a passing QB, but unsuccesfull and conservative play calling will hold this team back unless change is made. We are loaded at most positions. We recruit well, and we'll see a really talented class coming in. The defensive line excluding Adams will return in tact. We will need a couple of linebackers to step up. Taylor and Claiborne must be replaced in the secondary. On offense, Mett will be broken in with a cupcake first half of the season. All running backs return as well as Wr's ( I'm guessing RR returns). The offensive line will replace a couple, but our recruiting in the past has prepared us for this. Clemente or whoever else must be more incorperated into the passing game. 2012's season should be another successful one! This season ended bad, but was one for the books. Cheer up fellas, our tigers will be back in action in 2012 with revenge and a chip on their shoulders!!!! :geaux::lsup::lsup::lsup:
