So, a "lower" program like OSU simply isn't worthy, right? Sounds like institutional discrimination to me. F that.

Thanks GDF. It wasn't exactly vintage BCS 2007, but they got it right. It's a real head scratcher trying to figure out why all these folks are so determined to play OSU, when so many are so adamant in their belief the cowboys are truly the second best in the land.

Human nature usually wants the line of least resistance. Noble group.:hihi:

Actually it has nothing to do with that at all. Some believe if you don't play in your championship game or win your division that you shouldn't play for a national title. It is pretty hard to argue with OSU's resume, it was actually a little better than yours. I hear some of you say you are undefeated in regulation but so is OSU. I don't like the way this system is set up. Auburn got shafted a few years back now OSU did. I have no problem playing you Gumps again. It gives me great pleasure to beat your team again in New Orleans. Maybe if it gets a little to hot for Nickie he will run away and head to the big ten or somewhere just like he did when he left Miami.

Actually that would be more of a Les Mile's quote. I think Bama's argument would go more along the lines of, we are better then OSU and LSU knows it.

And it would also be Saban's quote that you shouldn't be playing for the championship also. Lets get that straight. I have no problem playing your sorry ass team again, we will win and then none of you Gumps can say the best team didn't win like last time.:tigereye:
Btw I didn't say you weren't the better team, just said some think you don't belong in this game.

That's because they would like to be in the game themselves, or they have a rooting interest. Either way, going to be a whole lot more woofing then meltdown, leading up to this one.

That is right, the same way Nick Saban campaigned and the same way Yall did.
It is no different. I'd prefer to have some kind of playoff system. At least a game lets say, OSU vs Alabama and then the winner plays LSU. That would be more fair to OSU and other conferences versus them being that close in the race and then get shut out.

Or you could be even more fair.

    #2 Alabama vs #3 OSU
    #1 LSU vs #4 Stanford

Winners play one more. Your preaching to the choir.
