If Bama wins the only way to make it completely fair is to play again the following week in Death Valley. What they should have done, is forced Bama to play Okie State for the right to play us.
Well....LSU will be 13-1...BAMA would be 12-1. I think the AP would go to LSU and BAMA would get the Crystal ball. If we pull this off then it is going to be GREAT bragging rights for years to come…but I really wanted OSU after ole boy said he would throw up 30+ points on us.

I dont know about you guys but if we do lose I hope we dont become USC (or Bama who has 10 of their titles shared with other teams) and claim National Champion. Its crystal ball or nothing.
I'm gonna claim it. Difference is we beat them when it was supposed to count, we didn't beat SC that year.
I disagree, The system is flawed. Until there is a playoff system this is what you are going to have to deal with. Alabama should have played their way into this game and not lobbied. You would have a point if we didn't beat Bama in Tuckaloser and then undefeated through the regular season and championship game. If somehow Alabama is able to win this game it will be tied 1-1 for the year. The people who support the BCS has to root for LSU, this could possibly bust the system. I have believed we need some kinda playoff for many years.

When bama loses there will be a complete meltdown in gumpville. Here is a short list of excuses that I'm sure we will hear 1) the refs cheated us to save the bcs 2) lsu played a home game and that influenced the refs 3) the refs on the field were bias because okie state was passed over 4) honeybadger cheated
O you can bet they will be whinning but A good ass whipping will shut them up and they will be calling for his head in Gumpville!! Maybe paint Lil ol Nickys statue purple and gold in honor of his LSU losses!!!!:tigereye:
