Agreed, holding your breath and pray against a huge F up every time AJ falls back to throw the ball get old. Best example was early in the game against the gumps AJ threw a pass that I was pretty sure meant for a gump. His receiver was double covered and had no shot in hell of catching as it was over thrown by 15 yards. Found myself praying for the gump to drop the ball, not our WR to catch the ball.
I'm to the point that when I'm watching the games, and Jennings does complete a pass I think that it's luck. That's a bad feeling as a fan.
You guys could always pull for Oregon and there high power offense........oh, wait they don't win championships every year either. Takes more than a qb who can sling it all over the yard.
If the Ducks had an SEC style defense they might win almost every year, They also don't sling it all over the field. They run as much as they pass out of the no huddle spread.
Here is a great article supporting benching Jennings http://www.andthevalleyshook.com/2014/11/12/7210731/its-time-to-bench-anthony-jennings
It's an article written by some Internet writer. I certainly wouldn't call it great. I'll rely on our coaching to determine who plays and when. My focus is winning the last two games. If we can do that and give Harris some PT, great.
We are tied for 5th in the West. Not going to the playoffs or going to win the West. Play Harris let him learn so we will know where we stand going into next season. We're already going to a bowl he may win the next 3 games and have his confidence through the roof.
LSU quarterback Brandon Harris will get ‘an opportunity’ to play Is anyone buying this? I thought for sure Miles would mention, when asked, that there may be a chance to put him in a game. I don't believe that will happen in a close game and when Jennings hasn't made mistakes. I don't believe there will be garbage time opportunities either. LSU will not distance themselves from the other team on the score board. It would be nice to see Harris in the games getting some meaningful snaps to see just how far along he has come. I would love to see him prove all of these negative Brandon Harris posters wrong.
