We have 2 regular season games and a bowl game. Now is the time to see if Harris can handle up. I'd really like to see if he can run this run heavy offense better than Jennings. It probably won't happen, but it would be nice to see.
I'd like to see it too but its not gonna happen. Harris will be warming the bench unless one of the games is a blowout and then he will come in to hand the ball off with 5 minutes left in the game
No way they hand him the keys but I hope they will at least give him significant time going forward. One or two series each half would go along way in his development.
I agree, this season is shot. Lets bench Jennings. While we are at it, lets play for next year. Sit La'el, this is his last year, get his backup in and see if he can handle up? Same with Rasco's backup. Same with Porters. Lets play for next year, see who can handle up. We need to sit Godchaux, we might have a better true freshman coming in next year? Everyone knew he would be starting in the SEC this year. Everyone knows the starting lineup for next year. No one ever improves during the off season, Spring and Summer.
It's called the "JJ Syndrome". That's where the coach continues to utilize a player, oblivious to the fact that player is obviously not up to the job.
Once Les names a starter at QB, that guy is the starter. AJ has the job except for injury, suspension, or graduation.
There won't be garbage time minutes in these remaining games and there will not be the "opportunity" to put him in before then. Basically, Miles is playing what he believes is his best chance to make a low scoring, close game in the 4th quarter and hope for the Ole Miss kind of win, not the Alabama kind of loss.
