Well said. JJ should be warmly welcomed back, and then handed his clip board, LSU baseball cap and headset. He can keep TC company on the sideline. If he wonders why he's in that position, he can remember that a week before the opening game of his senior year, coming off a largely disappointing Junior year, 4 hours after curfew, he was getting in a fight in a bar parking lot. No way does he see the field unless Lee is injured.
"No way does he see the field unless Lee is injured." Actually I disagree see the field if Both Lee and Mett are injured. However I would be fine with a few packages for him where he runs a series or two. Kind of like we did last year with Lee.
Actually, I agree with you that I'd rather see Mett come in before JJ. However, I'm less enthusiastic about the 2 QB system. We only did that last year out of necessity because JJ's play was so horrible at times. IMHO, we are probably better off keeping things as they are now unless something drastic changes.
In no way do I want to see a 2 QB system! 2 QB systems SUCK! But, I would not mind seeing JJ come in for a snap or two, especially in the RZ. He is another weapon and it would make no sense keeping him on the bench if he has the ability to help us score on specific drives during pivotal moments in big games.
I agree! Neither QB gets a rhythm constantly rotating. As far JJ I really don't want to sound like an ass, but he had his shot. I would hate to see him returning an upsetting the apple cart. I am sure JJ was not worried about all the time Lee was holding the clipboard. We have a system that is working, lets move on!
I never want to see jj play another snap of lsu football. Call me a prick. Call me whatever you want. I'm being honest. Jj coming back will disrupt this team and cause us to lose a game or two. Every snap jj waste is one less snap lee could be using to lead this team to a national championship. I don't want to ever see mr lost and confused pout on the field again or bitch on the sideline because he isn't in the game. I never want to see him play again. Peorid. Next year mett, along with most of the defense returning, will lead us to another championship. Jj will only take reps that mett could be getting. Frick a running qb at lsu.
OK, I shall call you Gomer Pyle. :grin: What if Lee goes down? Does Jefferson look any better to you then? What if Lee scores 60% of the time in the red zone and Jefferson scores 90%. Would you mind Les putting Jefferson in the game inside the 10? Jefferson has earned a whole lot more respect than that in the last three years. Trust Les to handle his own team's chemistry, Private Pyle.
Thats all I am concerned about, a split team. Right know they seem to be a cohesive unit and thats what it will take to beat some of the teams we are about to play.:thumb:
