This is the best "I hate [insert rival here]" essay that I've read. It's by a Tennessee fan writing about why he HATES BAMA. “I Hate Alabama!” Ten years later Your Mother Slept With Wilt Chamberlain
Hey, that's my score too, do you mine putting some of that on red? Nothing like covering. Actually I don't really have anything bad to say about Bama, but perhaps this perspective we have in common. Sportsmanship has gone the way of the do do bird in all cultures. It ain't life and death, and as much as all of us obviously enjoy our teams, it's obvious not everybody is playing for fun, which is problably more of a reflection on our value system, it's changing. I think about coach Bryant every time I see the self promotion and ego's of these players today, to say he would have grabbed some face mask and set some people down, is an under statement. You play with class and you knock em down, but you help em up. Fans tend to take the same approach of players today, to the point it's not the exception but more the rule. It's not going to change, but individually why not have some fun. Coach Stallings said "The fun is in the winning" that's true but it not going to keep me from enjoying life either way. Roll Tide!!!!
They should put the pictures of their Heisman trophy winners on it instead.....wait.......who'd want to drink moonshine from a blank cup. Mark Ingram gets a piece ripped from his Heisman ballot this saturday. I say we hold him under 80 yards. :geaux:
Naaa, we only count 21st century championships. We'll give Bama the 20th century and Yale the 19th. :hihi:
I don't hate Bama, i think they have passionate fans, a great history, and they kicked the crap out of us for years, but in the recent past they haven't. To be honest, since i have been alive the head to head record is 13-19-1. I don't give a damn what they did before i started watching football. You have to really, really care about something in order to hate it, and i don't care about Alabama.
It's funny..I could make that game look preferable to LSU with highlights as well. All the Bama fans I sat next to during that game were quiet the whole time...they were scared and were watching their dreams slip away until the last few moments.
I take it this guy isn't an LSU fan...avatars are misleading. I do applaud Alabama for successfully being able to rhyme, even if it does mean making up words like a two year old. Though you do fail..."Alabama" and "Hammer" do not rhyme, you should change it to "Alabamer." That would be a wonderful display of Alabama superiority! What does the average Alabama fan get on their SAT? Drool.
