We still have a whole lot to play for. If we win our next 2 games, that will be 3 SEC titles, 1 National title, and 4 Sugar Bowl wins, in only 7 years. That is an incredible run!

I am behind the players and coaches 100%! Let's win the SEC!

    GEAUX TIGERS!

Absolutely. As a Tiger fan that lives outside of the state I am more proud than ever. Our Tigers have been mentioned more this year on a national basis than ever before. We have lots to be thankful for. I lived in Florida during the Spurrier years. It was tough to be an LSU fan back then, but we have come through the wilderness. We have returned to national prominence and I see a few LSU stickers and hats ect all the way over here in Virginia. It is a great time to be an LSU Tiger.

I am with ya sugar...but this one is still gonna sting for at least the rest of the weekend.

Top teams don't lose at home to an unranked 7-4 team. I'm sorry, an 8-4 team now.

Well there's at least one poster with a relatively intact sense of reality.

If, like me, a lot of the posters had sat in the pouring rain, in forty degree weather, while Mississippi State was beating us by 40+ points in the last game of a 4-8 season, like I did, and if you stayed until the final second of that game, like I did, then you would not be losing your mind because we lost a second game in triple overtime to drop us to 10-2 with a SEC title game and a great bowl game comin up.

And as for the poster who hope to see "Les Miles burn in hell" and think that this is a complete disaster, remember not long ago we wanted to be like Alabama or Notre Dame or Nebraska or FLorida State or Miami. Still want to trade places?

But the bandwagon types incur their own self-imposed penalty, because they ONLY want to be here for the wins, the wins will never taste as sweet for them.

In fifty years I will still look back and remember what a great fun season this has been.

Well done everybody. Winning or losing, you will find me on Saturday's wrapped in purple and gold standing 12 inches from the screen. Year end and year out. It is what we do. After last night, my legs hurt! I am proud of the fact that out two losses came as a result of 6 overtime periods and not fourth quarter blow outs. Off to Georgia for a big game and back to the hot tub to rest the legs. I can't wait.

Which team hasn't lost to a mediocre team?

Kansas hasn't played a single worthy opponent yet.

Thanks to everyone for the great comments. I too am an old fan. I went to LSU in the early 80's, and I used to sit in the stands till the last play when we would lose to almost everybody. My first year at LSU we won 3 games, and I am sure one of those was RICE. And 2 years later we had a 4 win season.

The point is, take pride in being a Tiger! Don't be so negative. It stings, but don't let it ruin your week. Sometimes we forget, it is a game, played mostly by teens. Let's support our Tigers and win the SEC!

I remember sitting in the stadium in Little Rock Arkansas in 2000. It was cold and wet and nasty. I remember watching Booty throw an interception for a TD late in the game and I just remember how miserable it was. I think LSU football has come a long long way.
