I see this as one of the most challenging season’s that LSU has played in a very long time and I’ll be honest and say that trips to the National Championship do have a little bit to do with luck. A lot more to do with talent but also having a favorable schedule plays a huge role. This is more than having our hands full, this is almost a downright punishment.

9-3-11 – Oregon – It’s always nice to get 1 game in to work through the kinks, so having to play a team like this week one, well it blows. Only good thing, Oregon has to do it too. I am still on the fence with this one, as fall camp hasn’t opened and there are still some questions that need to be answered, but I am worried
9-15-11 – AT Mississippi State – Thursday night game on the road, no walk in the park by any means, and Moo U is getting better every season – We very well could be on upset alert this week, don’t put it past old Kirk Herbstreit
9-24-11 – AT West Virginia – Going on the road to play in a very tough stadium to win in and playing a OOC BCS Team who is favored to win their conference – Not to mention, we beat them last year and revenge is fresh on their minds
10-8-11 – Florida comes to town, Heated Rivalry, never easy, big finish to win last year, if we don’t keep our eyes on the prize, Florida will smack us in the mouth
10-15-11 – AT Tennessee, well given the results of last year’s debacle, let’s face it, Tennessee has this one circled on their schedule – They will be out for blood
10-22-11 – Auburn, Not last year’s team, but they are the defending national champions with a lot of talented players returning
11-5-11 – AT Alabama – This one speaks for itself
11-19-11 – AT Ole Miss - In a rebuilding process, but Ole Miss plays us well, there has to be a team to come in last in every conference, unfortunately for Ole Miss they are that of the SEC West, but this could very well be a winning record team in every other conference
11-25-11 – Arkansas, Battle for the Golden Boot – Never easy, nail biting rivalry – The last 6 games have been decided by an average of 3-1/2 points

Well, I should have mentioned that, by no means do I want to come off negative, realistics, yes, but negative, no.

I sure am hoping for it, lets be real, we win out, this team goes down as one of the greatest teams in college football history. Is that a bit over the top?

    But, I AM HOPING!!! :geaux:

Going undefeated with a schedule like this will be very tough.

The ONLY way that we can go undefeated is if JJ has a PHENOMENAL year.

I don't think that going undefeated is in the cards this year.

You forget Mett is sitting back there waiting for his chance, if JJ isn't getting it done... he will get some playing time. His arm is huge and he obviously has skills, after all he did go to the juco national championship last season... There's high hopes for the Tigers this season, and I think we win at least 10-11 regular season games.

Good to see you put Northwestern State in the win column.
