Let's face it.... a lot of people took umbrage at having a black man as President, no matter how classy the man actually was.

What's the difference in voting for someone because he is black and voting for someone because he or she isn't someone else. You are still picking a candidate for a stupid reason. Back on this shooting though. It's really a headshaker when I hear republicans say democrats need to tone down the rhetoric, when the same fucking thing happened to Gabby Giffords by some crazy ass right wing nut job. I just seems to me that they are getting a taste of their own medicine and it sucks doesn't it. Because the hateful rhetoric was their schtick from 08-16. No one in this administration or in congress on either side deserves to get shot. Well, except maybe Jeff Sessions, but I'm thinking more like a rubber band gun, I'd love to sit across him and shoot rubber bands at him. Maybe they deserve to lose their benefits, their job even. But not shot. Same was true for Gabby as it is for Steve.
This is an absolute lie. Loughner was a registered Independent who college friends described him as a liberal and left wing. He was a paranoid schizo who hated Giffords because he saw her as fake and didn't like the way she responded to him at a rally. He was anti-government, supported flag burning, liked the Communist Manifesto, and was a 9/11 truther. Democrats/libs/antifa have become incredibly violent since the election. It goes beyond rhetoric at times. Property destruction, attacking innocents, talking about blowing up the White House. And then the daily rhetoric of removing Trump's image from government offices, comic beheadings, plays where Trump Caesar is killed, athletes who REFUSE to go to the White House. It's getting ridiculous and the left just keeps wanting to take guns away. The right has ownership as well but trying to blame either side for mentally ill anti-government people is stupid. You know how many former military are out and about now after MANY tours, with access to weapons, know how to use them, have PTSD, can't get help, are depressed, hate the government, don't have a job.....need I go on?
