I have direcpath...a cable provider in a small city in Louisiana between New Orleans and Shreveport. My point is...stop blaming me for not being able to watch the game when I have no control of what my provider or ESPN decides to do. :rolleye33:

You watched the game...good for you. I am glad you got to watch it..but I promise you that if you were not able to watch it because of bum coverage, I would not be messing with you about it right now. :dis:

I have complained to both ESPN and my provider.
I truly do not know who is at fault.
My best guess is that DirecTV has no control over what programming is on a certain channel though. They just forward whatever feed ESPN sends them.

Sorry man. Didn't mean to hurt your feelings. I'll send ESPN and direcpath a very nasty e-mail on your behalf.

what are you, like 7? "upsize that" ZING! it's my last name :insane:

You've got the sense of entitlement that makes a lot of our fans hated around the country. They just won a game by ~ 20 runs and all you can do is bitch about not getting to see all of it. Had you gotten to see it, you'd have bitched about the announcers not saying enough good stuff about LSU.

    incorrect (at least from me)
if there was only 1 channel, and it changed, then I would understand.
    but 4 channels??
I was under the impression that the whole reason behind offering ESPNa was to broadcast the game NOT being broadcast on the other ESPN channels, (at least that is how they've been operating since I got DirecTV).

You my friend have yet to figure out what I am talking about. ESPN could have played yankee doodle dandee the musical to everyone else in the country...I don't care. It doesn't matter to me that the NATION would have rather watched a closer game...but it was already on 4 different channels.

LSU could have been left on one of them in my coverage area, WHERE NO ONE GIVES A HOOT ABOUT FRESNO STATE OR ARIZONA STATE...you dimwit!! Don't tell a red blooded fan that is upset about not seeing the last game at the box on a channel that promised the game in it's entirety that I am what's wrong with LSU fans???

You sit on your hands and eat apples you reject! You are probably a red hot undercover Toolame fan to not be able to understand why I am a little upset. Peace.

And by the way, I am not 7..which is the amount of points I DIDN'T get to see UC Irvine muster against our 21. And the :insane: icon you put there is very accurate... I am very :insane:. Any questions?

    ME TOO!

I just wanted to be able to watch the State University play in that State. That's all I asked for....the State team, in their last game in a legendary stadium, played on television in that State. I don't think that the rest of the nation should have been forced to watch us...but I shouldn't have been forced to watch two teams from the left either.

That's all I wanted...how does anyone who considers themselves an LSU fan not understand that?

I'm not sure how it works, maybe someone who does can enlighten us. But I would be willing to bet that Direct TV has some control over it. They can't be completely out of control as to what broadcasts to their viewers. For example in Morgan city they get Lafayette and Baton Rouge local channels, and in New Orleans I only get New Orleans local channels. And both are provided by Cox.
