While he is a good coach, I imagine Freeze is still a poisonous name in the SEC. He probably needs some more separation and maybe a stint at another power 5 team before he gets back to the SEC
My Auburn spies are telling me that they are having a tough time, apparently the candidates are being told upfront that there are a number of assistant coaches that they cannot replace with there own. Looking like it could turn into a real $hit show.
I agree. I can see a school like LSU, UGA, UF, etc going after coaches but AU just needs to kind of maintain until that bastard retires. My reasoning is that its a HARD sell. Coaching in the SEC is one thing, coaching and recruiting literally next door to Saban is a different game.

Replaced the old Ark St coach with the old Ark State coach. Wonder if he'd hire his old boss as a coordinator? Aubie could pay him another million a year on top of what they already owe him.
