Who said they actually wanted Nutt as our coach?

I don't think anybody wants that. I sure would like to have him on our staff though. He is the best at firing up a football team.

I don't care what others say. To me, Les is still a great coach and OUR coach. He has achieved much much more than I expected when he was hired. In SEC anybody can beat anybody if things did not go certain direction. Les is a great guy also. Anybody wants Nutt as coach must be nuts. LSU still has chance. Even if this team does not get chance to play in national title game, there are still SEC and bowl game to win. Lets not panic and give support to CLM. He deserve to get fans support. We do not want fair weather fans.

My take on H Nutt. He is a great game day coach. Fair recruiter, probably be better if he had a better base to pull from. Still he does pretty good and just like we do their fans bytch about it. He beat us, but his team helped. He'll be off the hot seat until next yr.

Is he better than Miles? who knows? You'd have to have a longer track record for Miles than you do now. then there is that head to head comparison that will always crop up. Like if a coach's record is WAY better than another coahces but he cant seem to beat that one coach. People start to see that. Is it fair? probably not. In the end I think Miles is one of the better coaches. Is there better? Yes probably so, even in the SEC.

The man is ONLY in his 3rd yr though and if you compare his record, which is the standard the admins use....he looks great. They also look at integrity and he seems to have lots of that.

SO are we all disappointed? Yes. It looked like THE yr.
Could we have done better with asnother coach? maybe, BUT we DONT have another coach. And NEXT YR we wont have the same situation, so basically its like crying over spilled milk.

There's just as good a chance we wouldnt have done as WELL with another coach.

    Injuries played a major roll.

So Les has integrity, and as of right now, he has good win loss record.
Regardless of who's recruits it is. In five years we'll know more. If he keeps turning in 10-11 win seasons, at least we'll be in the hunt each year.

and you have to be in the hunt to win the thing last time I checked.

Let's dont throw him under the bus just yet.

Well there's a finely crafted and well-written sentence, itself. Would you like to take your English major and explain for the class the six written errors, including a misplaced comma, an omitted comma, and improperly used ellipses that appear in this post?

Show me! Nothing in my post is plagiarized.

Since you are the expert, and you have so eloquently employed the term "bitch," to my person, I think I can maintain your protocol.

Speaking of bitches, by the way, I was talking to your mom last night and she asked me to remind you to pick up the condoms and Boone's Farm before you head over there tonight.

I think the cheap wine was for you.

Do you want to stop this crap? I did not begin by picking apart the words of an infrequent poster on a fan board, you did.

Keep trying to say I am an idiot because I cannot write a post to your satisfaction and I will keep fighting back. I made a comment that was a joke about ESPN and USC, in one sentence of a much, much longer post. You made it an issue of state.

    This is ridiculous.

I think there is no doubt Miles and staff were out coached by a very average Arkansas staff that looks like it is about to be fired. If Crowton is an offensive genius like advertised then I am a Playboy Bunny. I think Miles is a very very good person and a really good coach but comes up very short in a couple of areas that will keep us from ever winning a national championship.

I see no way Michigan offers him their HC job and there are a couple of better coaches that we could go after so I'm no longer concerned about that. However if he does stay and I think he will LSU would benifit greatly if he made some changes. Peveto HAS to go, LSU has to have the worse special teams in the nation and is showing no signs of improving. McCarthy, sooooo much young talent a WR and we are no better now than we were at that position in game one. Receivers still with way more drops than average and can't even line up in proper formation in game 12. How many penalties this season for illegal formation because the receivers don't know how to line up before the snap. Crowton, wow where to begin here. Has there ever been such a deep and talented group of offensive players so thoroughly wasted? Six points in a half against on of the SEC's poorest defenses, when the team was blessed with absolutely perfect field position most of the half. Is it just me or has the offensive playbook actually shrunk as the season has progressed. Did we really run the option with Jacob Hester to the short side of the field.

I really like Miles and I think his overall grade for this season is pretty high, but far too often he is not the smartest head coach on the field on Saturday and it shows. He also has a couple of big holes in his staff that need to be addressed. Peveto and McCarthy should be gone and Crowton should have a one on one meeting with Miles where Miles puts him on notice that he needs to get up to SEC speed or else. In the end I think Miles and his entire staff stays, including Pelini, and we have more great seasons where we lose games to teams we should beat and always fall short of reaching the big one. 10 and 11 win seasons one after another should have everyone jumping for joy, but somehow with the talent we have and the way the schedule fell this year I feel the team and coaching staff underachieved. I think year after year Tiger fans will be celebrating great seasons yet feeling the team fell short of it's ability and left a greater prize on the table. I'm very glad we got Miles and am very thankful for the job he has done this far, I just wonder how many points we would have scored in the first half and if the staff would had been out coached by Nutt if Spurrier was walking the Tiger sideline.

I think Crowton's offense is very good. We can score with just about anyone when our players execute the plays well.

    Peveto is sorely lacking.

And some of the play calls are questionable, and some downright moronic... I don't really know who to blame. The bubble screen on 4th and 1 was horrible, but was it Crowton, or Miles?
