No matter what you say, an LSU fans dislike or hate in most cases, will for as long as Saban is there be misconstrued as being because of Saban. For newer fans that may actually have some truth to it, but for those of us who have been around since the 80's and beyond, that Hate has been festering for a long time, and Saban is no different than the players on the field for Bama to us. They come and they go every 3-5 yrs, but the hate for Bama will still be there. It ain't about the individuals, it's about the history.:geaux: :milesmic: :LSU231: :crystal: :crystal:
Agreed, i didn't like Saban before he came to LSU, i liked the fact he brought us an SEC championship and some bowl victories and a National Championship while at LSU, i still thought he was a prick when he coached here, but tolerated him because of what he did on the field, went back to hating him the moment he announced he was leaving a day before the Iowa game (think it was a day, help me out here.) He is a prick and was way before he ever started wearing menstrual red.
Come on fellers, you have let the Dumping Elephant turn another LSU/Les thread into a Bama/Nick thread.
Actually, I thought the "Napoleon Saban" statue was pretty funny !!! :hihi:. After all, they have short stature in common...and suffer from the same complex.. OK, now I see the LSUfreek emblem...I thought TuskTimes Photoshopped it. still pretty good Tusk.
Agreed. However, Tusks is trying to deal with the realization that his team won't be leaving Baton Rouge with a W. It's a sort of grief therapy for him.
I'm dealing with the realization it's going to be the toughest road game on our schedule. I'm not sure coming to TF for "grief therapy" is a great idea. Coming to TF for grief, yes, that's doable.
Yea. You're right. Coaches should be doing absolutely nothing with their time except recruiting and coaching. :dis:
Well, I think you jumped the gun on this one amigo. I don't think that Saban shares your sentiment, especially since he has decided to follow Les's lead.
