“Why can’t LSU get it right on offense?” Steve Spurrier asked Saturday night, according to ESPN, as he thumbed through scores on his flip phone. “Every year, they have as much talent as anybody in the SEC, and that’s including Alabama.”
    Enough said!

The only one who could tell you that is Les and even if he did nobody would understand what he said.

What I wonder is why those 4 and 5 star receivers sign with LSU in the first place. Maybe receivers are not as smart as quarterbacks. Good QBs have wised up and avoid LSU like the plague

Harris has the tools, look across the country and see the difference in coaching, look at this kid at Bama, they instilled confidence in this guy. Harris is lost and makes poor decisions and its mainly because of coaching and a lot of it is on him as well. But look at the options in play calling that he has to deal with.

I don't think Harris is the guy, that's been stated many times. But you're right. I think Stacey was saying something about this as well. Move the pocket, let him run, let him throw on the run with plays designed to do so. That's what he did at Parkway and for some reason, this brilliant staff thinks they can turn him into a pocket passer.

I agree with StaceyO, first lets start with getting a QB that fits your system, if you are going to play Big Ten ball, then find that QB. second, that offensive philosophy is prehistoric to begin with.

I agree, he looks horrible. That said, I'd bet under another coach he would show much more improvment. This is a systemic issue. LSU has too much talent to come in looking like they do. Miles is a sinking ship.

Great post. We need a QB that fits the system. Harris should be playing in a spread option attack, not a pro style.

In general though I see the whole team not showing improvment and making too many mistakes. It's a systemic issue stemming from Miles. We can't blame the OC either, we saw the same shit under Stud and Crowton as well.
