I think you may be missing the point. They hung alleva out to dry by sending him to write a check then stopped payment on it mid-negotiations.
He was cut off at the knees. He is only as good as their bankroll. Its not the university's money. If they dont want someone else, theres little he can do. He was told he had a blank check basically just come back with their guy.

Then they whacked him in middle of negotiating the price, making Miles a made man by default.

We will lose to Alabama, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Florida, Wisconsin (there goes that non conference thing, the last thing Les is holding on to) maybe Texas A&M, and maybe another SEC East team, we probably barely beat the sisters of the poor, Auburn and Mississippi State. Next year is going to be painful.

 

I see losses or possible losses coming from Arkansas, Bama, Ole Miss, Florida... Auburn if they get their shit together... but Mizzou won't beat us. Wisconsin maybe. So I see 4 losses, and a possible 2 more.

 

8-5 maybe a bowl win or loss so 8-4 with a chance at 9-4 or 8-5
