All of that is spot on. I'm not arguing you on that at all. I feel Miles should be gone. However the issue again is Alleva did not have any other options other than Jimbo. When he raised the ante too high Alleva had to back out and LSU look like a joke. At the end of the day as an employee Miles should have been fired, the employer Alleva dropped the ball.

 

He should have known Jimmy Sexton was going to raise the ante and have been prepared to go all in considering that he had no backup plan whatsoever

 

But the article Tirk posted said Alexander couldn't do it with the financial woes at the school. It all comes back to our shitheel governor.

 

Part of an ADs job is knowing all of the factors of any given situation, including how much money he had available to pay a new coach. He could have gotten Tom Herman for the money he was able to spend once Jimbo pulled out. That's what we are paying Alleva $700k to be aware of and act accordingly

 

And like I said in another thread to that... if it's true, than the multi-million dollar TAF hand outs to the education side of the Univ. need to cease and desist asap. I see it as two can play that game, and when the millions quit coming in King can find himself looking for a job too.
