Oh the gloom and doom lol I guess CLM is gonna phuck this up and not hire anyone? What we have heard from VERY good sources is all bullchit. He will stick to the guys we have and CLM will be fired next year. :dis: Yes Bama if what I heard is true the rest of the SEC is in trouble!
I think Miles gets a lot of the "Fulmer type" treatment by the media. They think he is not intelligent and the elitest media like to run with it. I don't think Miles helps himself all that much with his coach speak and encrypted speak. I wish he just be more comfortable looking and give more insight to his football mind in the public.
Not so fast my friend! To my knowledge, and i may be wrong, Miles hasn't fired a coach since he's been here? I know Dumbo and Pelini left for other jobs. I know he has hired position coaches, but were the previous ones fired? So hopefully his firing spree begins this year. We need a completely new defensive staff.
Not saying he is gonna start firing them left and right but there will be changes made in the right places that I think we will all be happy with.
:geaux::crystal::helmet: Yet. That Troy game came mighty close! I hope we don't have one of those for a long, long, time. Need a DC though. Soon. :geauxtige:champs::LSU231:
How many can claim a thirty-nine place drop in the BCS polls after finishing number one the previous year. 1 Oklahoma 2 Florida 3 Texas 4 Alabama 5 USC 6 Utah 7 Texas Tech 8 Penn State 9 Boise State 10 Ohio State 11 TCU 12 Cincinnati 13 Okla St 14 Ga Tech 15 Georgia 16 BYU 17 Oregon 18 Michigan St 19 Va Tech 20 Pitt 21 Missouri 22 Ball State 23 Nwestern 24 Boston Coll 25 Ole Miss 26 Florida State 27 Oregon St 28 No Carolina 29 Iowa 30 Nebraska 31 California 32 E Carolina 33 Clemson NR 34 Kansas 35 Tulsa 36 West Va 37 Rice 38 Rutgers 39 Buffalo 40 LSU 40 West Mich Nebraska and Florida State, now coached by our past coordinators, Jimbo and Pelini, finished higher than LSU. Those guys received the brunt of criticism for our lack of production when the were here.
Well, that's what happens when you end the season with losses to Ole Miss and Arkansas. It's going to be OK. We'll be underrated next year and, after spanking Washington's behind bad, will have folks wondering hmmmm....could LSU "be back"?
