everyone romanticizes the memories of a past relationship. if it had any good memories. most here will remember les as being infallible and awesome, forgetting the many gaffes along the way. because the good outweighed the bad. still too many gaffes.
Meanwhile they can't even be happy after a huge win. Where the hell are they? Talking about how good the game was? Or muttering that soon Les will give them another excuse to bitch and moan.
You should have been around for Charlie Mac's last two years and heard the complaints after a losing season. Can anyone list his gaffes for me right now?
@tirk is certainly old enough to remember Charlie Mac's last few years. And the big gaffe with Charlie Mac was boring, old-fashioned offense (sounds familiar) and that he couldn't beat the Bear (also familiar--though no one could be the Bear.)
