Les Miles will never beat Nick Saban again, therefore LSU will never win the West

It holds true for all teams except one that wins every game. Which has rarely happened.

Everything depends upon the school. He held out for Ole Miss, just like Jimbo Fisher held out for FSU. Both had opportunities to be head coach elsewhere, but it make no sense for a coach of his age to go to a coaches graveyard like Vanderbilt or Mississippi State, which can be a career killer. If he gets a chance at a major program he must go.

I really don't care about other teams, when is the last time we won a game that mattered?

It will take either an epiphany by Miles that he has to change his approach on offense or his departure. If the former didn't happen after 1/9/12, it's never going to. And he ain't leaving any time soon.

I think it's ironic to note that he's homage to Bo Schembechler (sp?) is our offense, but Bo was Woody Hayes' bitch, just like Miles' is Saban.

As long as no one gets Pancho, I'm kind of fond of that one.

I could be satisfied with an SEC championship if it happened that way. Why not?

I don't expect it, but I wouldn't be upset about it, either.

It would be nice, but it wouldn't feel earned.

Remember how we bitched about USC getting the AP title in 2003? And then in 2011 we had fans who would have accepted an AP title had the game been close? That's what it would feel like to me. It wouldn't feel earned, it would feel like a fluke.
