    If they get MOST of what they want it would be a GREAT start in getting back to dominant defense.

    It's a start in the right direction but don't count on being dominant next season either. Even if we get every big 5 star DL and LB we go after they will still be inexperienced freshmen next year. Besides adapting to the speed of the college game they will need a year in the weight room under Tommy Moffit's tutelage

    No, I'm not talking about next season. You rarely find true freshmen ready to contribute at DT or LB. If fact I don't think we'll be ready to switch to a 3-4 next year even with a great class. But we've been missing big disruptive players at DT for a while IMO. We haven't had many bone crushers at LB either. Fast and athletic yes, but LB's that make a RB pay for coming up the middle, not many.

    The one thing the youngsters can do is provide depth and rotate in a series or two. That is what killed us v Bama.
